Suzanne C. Abraham obtained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. Her podiatric medical school honors included the Pi Delta National Honor Society, California College of Podiatric Medicine Honors List, and member of the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. She completed a three-year residency in Podiatric Medicine and Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix. Her residency included comprehensive training in foot and ankle surgery as well as extensive experience treating patients in the clinic and hospital settings.


Dr. Abraham joined Phoenix Foot & Ankle Associates in 2008. She sees adults and children of all ages and provides medical and surgical treatments for a wide variety of foot and ankle conditions such as ingrown toenails, fractures, sports-related injuries, bunions, and heel pain to name a few.


Dr. Abraham also works part time as an attending at the VA where she has been taking care of Veterans since 2006. She enjoys teaching and has the honor of teaching podiatry students and residents at the clinic and in surgery. She also considers it a privilege to work with residents from the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance Podiatry Residency.

She stays involved at Banner University Medical Center where she serves as the Podiatry Section Chief, Department of Orthopedics. In addition, she holds a faculty physician position at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
 
Recognized for her professional achievements and expertise, Dr. Abraham is a diplomate of the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She is board certified in Foot Surgery as well as Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
 
Dr. Abraham's commitment to her field is reflected in her active membership in prominent medical associations including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Arizona Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Association for Women Podiatrists. Her involvement in these organizations showcases her dedication to staying at the forefront of advancements in podiatric medicine.


Dr. Abraham was recognized by the Global Directory of Who’s Who in 2023 for her exceptional contributions to the field of podiatric medicine.
 
Dr. Abraham earned her undergraduate degree at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. While at the Academy she ran 4 years of cross country, indoor track and outdoor track. She was an All American in both cross country and track. She later coached cross country and track and taught physical education to the cadets at the Air Force Academy for 4 years. She served 8 years active duty as an Air Force officer and bioenvironmental engineer, demonstrating her commitment to serving her country and making a difference in the lives of others.
 
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Abraham finds joy in running marathons and cherishing quality time with her family.
