• She attended the University of Texas in San Antonio for her undergraduate studies, received a Bachelors in Science.

• Completed her medical education at the Dr.William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, IL 

• Completed Podiatric surgical residency at Loyola University Medical Center and Edward Hines Jr. Veterans Affairs Hospital in Chicago, IL

With advanced surgical training in Chicago during her three year foot and ankle residency at Loyola University Medical Center and Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, she brings precision, expertise, and a multidisciplinary perspective to every patient experience.

Specializing in bunions, heel pain, neuropathy, sports injury, wound care, limb preservation, and advanced foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Montes is known for delivering personalized, high-touch care tailored to each individual. Her philosophy blends clinical excellence with attentiveness, ensuring patients feel confident, informed, and exceptionally cared for at every step.

Outside of her practice, she enjoys yoga, Pilates, hiking, salsa dancing, photography, concerts, traveling, learning new languages, and spending time with her husband and her mini golden doodle named Chicago.
