Dr. Kyle Schwickerath is an Arizona native who earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology with an emphasis in pre-medicine from Grand Canyon University, graduating summa cum laude. He went on to receive his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Podiatric Medicine in Glendale, where he was recognized with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine Stephen M. Geller Graduate Merit Award and was inducted into the Pi Delta Honor Society.

Following medical school, Dr. Schwickerath completed a three-year surgical residency at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky. During his training, he served as Chief Resident and completed more than 1,500 foot and ankle surgical procedures. His experience includes foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, Charcot reconstruction, forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive techniques, and pediatric foot and ankle care.

Dr. Schwickerath treats a wide range of foot and ankle conditions and focuses on both conservative and surgical treatment options. His clinical interests include sports-related injuries, fractures, deformity correction, bunions, hammertoes, and diabetic and neuropathic wound care. He has experience in minimally invasive surgical techniques
and is committed to staying current with evolving treatment methods to support optimal outcomes for his patients.

He is board qualified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Schwickerath lives in northwest Peoria and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. In his free time, he enjoys camping, hiking, golfing, and other outdoor activities.
